The situation

The business owners in Downtown Moncton asked the city to install public washroom as they were seeing their stores and restaurants vandalized. Their wishes were granted in 2021, with the arrival of an Urben Blu smart washroom.

The smart restroom is located in the downtown area, very close to City Hall, a very touristic area and also frequently used for various events throughout the year.

Moncton, with its 79,470 inhabitants, is the most populous city in the Canadian province of New Brunswick.
