Self-cleaning public washroom coming to eastern edge of St. Catharines downtown

The need for public washrooms should be part of ongoing conversation that St. Catharines shouldn’t shy away from, the mayor says.
City council approved the installation of a self-cleaning automated public toilet this week in an area that includes the eastern edge of downtown and beyond to Queenston Street, with a specific spot still to be determined.
