Located on the shores of the St. Lawrence River in the Ville Lasalle borough of Montreal, Parc des Rapides is known for the famous Vague à Guy, a permanent wave that is a favorite site for surfers and kayakers. This 30-hectare park is very popular with the local community and with all the thrill seekers who enjoy surfing the Vague à Guy.
Two prefabricated buildings including a self-cleaning restroom (four-season use), an outdoor shower, a drinking fountain, changing booths and lockers were installed.
These facilities will better serve the public, as well as enhance the park experience.
