Located about 100 km northwest of Toronto and right next door to its twin city of Kitchener, the City of Waterloo had a pressing need for a public washroom in its downtown core. And so, in 2024, an Urben Blu smart restroom was finally installed downtown, at the corner of King and Williams streets, opposite Brewmeister Green Park. The toilet is unisex, accessible to all, and includes a changing table for babies.
